We can have a quick start, which will erase all bank 1 patches from the Nord Modular. They will be replaced by the Demo Noodle patches.

When you don't want this to happen you can manually transfer the demo noodles to a more convenient place in your Nord Modular, but you'll have to change the demo Nordler (demo.nlr) as well then. This is not verry hard, load Demo.nlr into the Nordler program, go down to the end of the file and change the patch location numbers to match your preferences. Then save the edited Nordler before loading it.

To get a quick start :

Start the modular editor, click on the 'Synth' menu item and select 'Bank Download'. Click 'Browse for Bank file', find the Subfolder 'Patches' in the folder listed on the right (application path). Select Bank1.pchlist from that folder. Klik open, the demo patches will be transfered to your Nord Modular.

On the Nord Modular, press all four slot buttons (ABCD) simultaneously, to get them all active.

Also be sure to have the NM configured to listen to MIDI channels 1 .. 4 for slots A .. D. See menu 'Synth/Synth settings ...' in the Nord Modular editor. And once here, also be sure to check the 'Program Change' 'Receive' option.

In the Nordler program, under tab 'Midi', select for Port 1 the appropriate MIDI out port, the one that will connect you to the MIDI IN port of the Nord Modular. Also be sure to let that port handle Device 1.

Then, from tab 'Main', klik 'Load', and load the file 'Demo.nlr'. The file will be loaded and compiled. Then it will be handed over to the player.

Now klik the 'Start' button to start the player to play its Nordlers. When you have your Nord Modular Editor open you should see patch loading activity, changing output volume knobs can also be observed.
